What is coaching

Coaching is a tool for you to find direction and purpose. It will give you clarity as to where you want to go next and how to approach this ‘next’.

Coaching is a craft and as such it also requires certain tools that are to be utilized skillfully.

As a business pychologist I feel most comfortable by utilizing tools such as ‘positive psychology’, ‘cognitive behavioral theory’ or ‘sociocognitive theory’ just to mention a few.

In any case, however, the absolute necessary pre-condition for a successful coaching experience is the willingness of the client to take action.

the process

We start with a free 30 min discovery call, with the purpose of getting to know one another as well as clarifying our expectations.

Once we’ve clarified these expectations we will state our agreed upon goals in a coaching contract before diving into deeper water.

Coaching is a process based on mutual respect and trust. The moment we embark on our coaching journey we  enter a safe and judement-free environment. With this we can trust the process to lead us to a successfull outcome.
